If you have wanted to find that special place to unwind and let the world pass you by then come and stay at the Toccoa Fishtrap cabin directly on the Toccoa River! There is no better place to leave all you worries behind and enjoy our beautiful mountains and the Toccoa River. Try your hand at fishing or just enjoy the surroundings as you relax on the deck at the river or the screened porch at the cabin! The gentle rolling river will lull you into a state of relaxation that will make you leave your worries behind!
Toccoa Fishtrap is a two level cabin with a kitchen that has a dishwasher, dining room and a large great room for kicking back and relaxing. On the main level of the cabin there is a king size bed in one bedroom with a bath. The other bedroom has a queen. The downstairs bedroom also has a queen and another bath. Toccoa Fishtrap also has a washer and dryer. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the screened porch in the spring, summer or fall. Take a nice morning walk in the area around the cabin and don’t be surprise if you see some of our wildlife .... like a white tail deer! There is an open deck with a hot tub, a nice table, chairs and a grill. Soak and relax in the hot tub after a day of hiking, fishing or white water rafting. The open deck is great for a nice afternoon lunch or early dinner as you grill-up some nice steaks or "american favorites"....hamburgers and hot dogs! Whatever the reason to visit Toccoa Fishtrap I am sure that you will want to make plans to return to this mountain getaway!
Enjoy the stone gas log fireplace in the fall or winter with family and friends. Catch up on some reading at the cabin or just enjoy what “mother nature” has to offer. In the spring and summer you can float in a tube down the Toccoa River or be a little more adventurous and try white water rafting on the Ocoee River! Horseback riding is a favorite activity of many of our guests. Whatever you decide to do we are sure you will want to come back for another visit! Visit our quaint little mountain town of Blue Ridge where you will find some of the most interesting shops and galleries anywhere. Visit the Mercier Apple House and take home some mountain apples, cider, jams and jellies….and don’t forget that southern favorite “fried apple pie”!
